    Description: Bugs are all around us. This camp will encourage a curiosity toward insects and show how insects are crucial to a healthy environment. An observation hive will make it possible for campers to get up close to honey bees, without the sting. Campers will identify common pollinators and identify the best plants to grow for a pollinator garden in their family's backyard. Each camper will take home a plant to start their own pollinator garden. Bugs are cool!

    Location: Jasper Educational Center
    Description: Description: We are surrounded by all kinds of birds. In this class we will learn more about birds, find out what kinds of birds make their home at the Arboretum and how to identify them. We will go out birding, play a game and made a snack for you to take home for your birds.

    ANT Class - Poetry In Nature

    Location: Jasper Educational Center
    Description: Description: Do you like exploring the outdoors, spending time watching clouds float by, observing animals, finding slimy animals or just enjoying the beauty in nature? In this class we will explore the natural elements around us and put it into poetry.
    This class is for children ages 7-11. Registration is $5 per student.

    Description: Description: What lives in a creek? Is the creek healthy? Why is it important to keep water healthy? In this class we will explore the creek at the Arboretum. We will find out what lives in the water. Please bring water shoes.
