 is an SDSU Extension Master Gardener and has gardened her whole life.  Ini
 tially\, her grandfather taught her many of his gardening skills and trick
 s.  After she retired from a nursing career\, she took the master gardener
  class.  She continues to provide tender loving care to her garden and flo
 wers.  She has supervised the community gardens\, presented at the public 
 education sessions\, hosted garden tours\, provided five pick up loads of 
 plants for the plant sale\, etc.
