X-WR-CALDESC:Plant Power! Healthy Eating with Cindy F.\n(This class support
s programming at the Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum.)\n\nHere in our lovely Arbo
retum\, surrounded by the beauty of nature\, we’ll talk about ideas and st
rategies for adding more plant-powered foods to your meals and snacks. We
know that fruits and veggies are good for us\, we see more and more refer
ences to plant foods\, but sometimes it can feel a little daunting to figu
re out how to easily incorporate them into our busy schedules and ingraine
d habits. As someone who has eaten plant-based for almost twenty years\,
I’ve had a lot of experience\, as well as trial and error\, discovering wa
ys to not only choose and prepare simple healthy foods but also to enjoy t
hem. Plants make you feel good\, and they can taste good\, too! In this
conversation we won’t be talking about what not to eat but rather what to
add. I'll provide ideas and inspiration\; the rest is up to you!
