Green Maintenace Shed - Teaching Garden

Bugs are all around us. This camp will encourage a curiosity toward insects and show how insects are crucial to a healthy environment. Campers will learn about the importance of pollinators, like honey bees. Each camper will identify common butterflies and identify the best plants to grow for a butterfly habitat in their family's backyard. Bugs are cool! This camp is open to 8-10 year old boys and girls and will be taught by Minnehaha County Master Gardeners, teachers, community health staff and Ground Works Midwest staff. Registration is $5 per student.
