Monthly Tours of the Teaching Garden · Every Tuesday Starting May 5th in partnership with the Minnehaha Master Gardeners!

The public is invited to tour the unique garden beds in the Teaching Garden at the Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum on the first Tuesday of every month, beginning May 5th. Come back each month to watch the gardens grow and change through the season

This year's featured beds include asparagus, rhubarb, strawberry, tomato, pepper, cool-season vegetables, warm-season vegetables, and space-saving beds.
Minnehaha Master Gardener bed managers will be on hand during each tour to explain the beds and answer your gardening questions.

When: First Tuesday of every month, starting May 5th
Admission: Free & open to the public
Location: Teaching Garden, Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum
Directions: To get to the Teaching Garden, visitors should proceed down the hill on the gravel road toward the maintenance shop area. Minnehaha Master Gardener signage will be posted to guide you through the Teaching Garden.
