The Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum is seeking to fill an environmental/naturalist internship position. Current students interested in gaining a perspective of a career at an arboretum, in a natural resources field, or horticulture are encouraged to apply.

The role of the Intern at the Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum is to work alongside the Education Coordinator in developing and executing authentic nature and historic programming. The intern position requires a fun energetic attitude with an ability to relate to children and the general public. The hours can be somewhat flexible under the direction of the Education Coordinator. The Arboretum spans 155 acres of outdoor trails, beautiful gardens, and several water features. The intern will enjoy a summer of outdoor activities as well as using your creativity in marketing our programs and classes. If social media is your favorite pastime, this may be the position for you!
